TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Little Custom Cottage.

These Terms & Conditions apply when you browse our website or purchase products from Little Custom Cottage.

By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

1. About Our Products

Little Custom Cottage creates and sells a range of personalised and non-personalised products, including items that may be handmade, printed, sublimated, 3D printed, vinyl decorated or otherwise customised.

We aim to display our products as accurately as possible.

Because some products are handmade or individually produced, there may occasionally be small variations in:

• Colour

• Positioning

• Finish

• Print placement

• Material appearance

• Size

Colours may also appear slightly different depending on the screen or device being used.

These small variations are part of the production process and do not normally affect the use of the product.

2. Placing an Order

When placing an order, you are responsible for checking that:

• The product selected is correct

• Any personalisation is spelled correctly

• Names, dates and wording are accurate

• Photographs or files uploaded are the correct versions

• Your delivery address is correct

Please check all information carefully before completing checkout.

Once you place your order, you should receive an order confirmation.

An order may be refused or cancelled by Little Custom Cottage where reasonably necessary, for example if:

• An item is unavailable

• A pricing error has occurred

• We are unable to complete the requested personalisation

• The supplied artwork or content cannot legally or practically be reproduced

• We suspect fraudulent activity

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, you will receive an appropriate refund.

3. Personalisation

Personalisation details are normally produced using the information you provide.

If you enter “Sophie”, for example, and the product is made with “Sophie”, we cannot normally treat the item as faulty simply because you later meant to enter another name or spelling.

If Little Custom Cottage makes an error and the finished item does not match the information supplied or an agreed proof, please contact us and we will put it right.

Where a digital proof is provided, please check it carefully.

Once you approve a proof, production may begin.

Changes requested after approval may not always be possible.

4. Customer-Supplied Images, Artwork & Content

When you provide photographs, handwriting, logos, artwork, designs, text or other content for personalisation, you confirm that you have the right or permission to provide that content and ask us to reproduce it.

Little Custom Cottage may refuse an order where we reasonably believe the requested content:

• Infringes another person's intellectual property rights

• Is unlawful

• Is abusive or discriminatory

• Is otherwise inappropriate for us to reproduce

Customer-supplied photographs or artwork may need to be adjusted, cropped or resized to fit the chosen product.

5. Product Images & Mock-ups

Some website images may be digital mock-ups used to demonstrate how a design will look on a finished product.

The final product may vary slightly because of factors such as printing, positioning, screen colours and product dimensions.

6. Prices

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) unless stated otherwise.

The price shown at checkout will be the price payable for your order, together with any applicable delivery charges.

We may change prices at any time, but price changes will not normally affect orders already accepted.

7. Payment

Orders must normally be paid for at checkout using one of the payment methods offered on our website.

Payment services may be provided by third-party payment providers.

We do not normally receive or store your complete debit or credit card details.

8. Promotional Codes & Discounts

Discount codes:

• Must be entered at checkout

• Cannot normally be applied retrospectively

• May have expiry dates

• May be limited to particular products

• May not be combined with another promotion unless stated otherwise

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend a promotion where reasonably necessary.

This does not affect orders already accepted at the promotional price.

9. Processing Times

Many Little Custom Cottage products are made or personalised to order.

Processing time refers to the time needed to create and prepare your order before dispatch.

Processing time is separate from the delivery time provided by the postal or courier service.

Any estimated processing time shown on the relevant product listing should be considered before ordering.

If you require an item for a particular date, please contact us before ordering where possible.

10. Delivery

Available delivery methods, costs and estimated times will be displayed on the website or at checkout where applicable.

11. Returns & Cancellations

Different cancellation rules apply depending on whether a product is personalised.

Nothing in these policies limits your statutory rights where an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

12. Digital Products

Where Little Custom Cottage offers downloadable digital products, different cancellation rules may apply.

If you request immediate access to a digital download during the normal cancellation period, you may be asked to expressly agree that the download can begin immediately and acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once downloading begins.

Digital files are for the use described in the relevant product listing.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchasing a digital design does not transfer ownership of Little Custom Cottage's intellectual property rights to the customer.

13. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, designs, photographs, product images, graphics, website content, branding and original artwork created by Little Custom Cottage remain the intellectual property of Little Custom Cottage.

They must not be reproduced, copied, resold or commercially distributed without permission.

This section does not claim ownership of photographs, logos, artwork or other intellectual property supplied by customers or belonging to third parties.

14. Product Safety & Intended Use

Customers should follow any safety, care or usage instructions supplied with a product.

Products intended as decorative items should not be treated as toys unless specifically described as suitable for that purpose.

Where a product is intended for use by or around children, appropriate adult supervision should be provided where required.

15. Our Responsibility

We are responsible for supplying products that meet your statutory rights.

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for matters that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from faulty or misdescribed goods where consumer law applies.

16. Website Availability

We may occasionally update, change or temporarily suspend parts of our website.

We cannot guarantee that the website will always be available without interruption.

17. Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may occasionally be updated.

The version applying to an order will normally be the version in force when that order was placed.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in Scotland and the United Kingdom.

Consumers retain any mandatory legal rights applicable to them.ur Little Custom Cottage order.

Because we sell both standard products and items personalised specifically for individual customers, the returns policy differs depending on the type of product purchased.
